Difficult times and unexpected life changes are tough to manage on our own. Relationships struggle and sometimes end and we’re left confused and hurt. Losses of all kinds happen and we aren’t sure where to go next. Hurt, stress, grief and anxiety are often experienced but we may be unsure how to deal with these feelings on our own. Counseling is a powerful asset to help you navigate these painful times with guidance and encouragement in order to reach the healing and growth you desire. You do not have to walk through hard seasons alone. Therapy can help you to understand your situation more fully, cope better and move through hard times with support and care.
I have my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I offer individual therapy, couples counseling, marriage and family therapy for clients ages 18 and older living anywhere in North Carolina. I offer Telemental Health services which clients find convenient and effective for meeting their counseling goals. Virtual counseling is as effective as face to face for clients who connect with it. Many clients enjoy the flexibility it provides as well as the ability to choose their space for our sessions; this provides a sense of comfort and safety right away. Phone and video sessions are offered.
I specialize in working with people experiencing anxiety, grief, loss, relational conflict and life transitions. I have expertise in helping individuals and couples who are experiencing disconnection and communication difficulties in their relationships. Many clients want to incorporate their faith or spirituality into their therapy; Christian Counseling is one of my passions and specialties. My goal for your counseling experience is a collaborative, empathetic and safe space for healing and growth. It’s important to me that you feel seen, deeply heard and understood. From that place, we can move together towards the healing, growth and change you desire.
